Scenic views and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere make this a wonderful choice for a place to stay. The owner is very friendly, the rooms and beds are comfortable, and the amenities are nice. There is a small pond/stream, where you can use a paddle boat and see wild salmon, as well as a tennis court and basketball court. You are surrounded on both sides by mountains, and the view is gorgeous! I have stayed here at least four times. It is without a doubt the most incredible property to stay at if you want a true Alaskan experience with a little bit of luxury mixed in. Great location between Anchorage and Seward. Soaring snow covered mountains surround this Inn, crystal clear lake, tennis courts, sauna, rivers, hiking, generous and the cordial Inn Keepers, Jeff and Rose Hetrick, will make sure you feel at home and help you make the most of your Alaska experience! When we first saw this location for the wedding it was love at first sight. I traveled to this Inn several times over the course of the year and it was beautiful every season. I fell in love over and over. Jeff & Rose were more than accommodating with every visit. We could not have asked for a better setting. The food Rose served at the reception was incredible. It made the taste buds tingle with joy. The location is beautifully decorated & the scenery is divine. Could not have asked for a better setting or hosts for our intimate wedding.
